Dr. Shaji Karun is a Consultant Naval Architect, Life Coach, Blogger, and Author who is passionate about combining professional excellence with timeless Islamic values. Throughout his journey, he has believed that true success is not measured only by knowledge, achievements, or worldly recognition, but by sincerity (ikhlās), service to humanity, and devotion to Allah.
With years of experience in naval architecture and marine engineering, Dr. Shaji Karun has dedicated his professional life to solving complex engineering challenges with precision, integrity, and innovation. Yet beyond his technical career, he believes that every field of knowledge is ultimately a trust (amānah) from Allah and should be used for the benefit of His creation.
As a life coach, he encourages people to develop resilience, purpose, and moral character while placing their complete trust (tawakkul) in Allah. He believes that genuine inner peace cannot be found through material success alone but through remembrance of Allah, sincere worship, gratitude, and a life guided by the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
His passion for writing led him to establish this Islamic blog with a simple but meaningful mission: to make the beauty of Islam accessible to everyone. Whether a reader is taking their very first steps in learning about Islam or striving to strengthen an existing faith, this platform aims to offer clear, authentic, and inspiring guidance rooted in the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the wisdom of the righteous scholars of Islam.
The articles are written in a warm, compassionate, and practical style, avoiding unnecessary complexity while remaining faithful to authentic Islamic teachings. The goal is not merely to provide information but to encourage reflection, strengthen faith (īmān), inspire good character (akhlāq), and cultivate a closer relationship with Allah.
Dr. Shaji Karun firmly believes in the words of Allah:
"Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest."
(Qur'an 13:28)
He also finds inspiration in the saying of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
"The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others." (Reported by al-Ṭabarānī; authenticated as ḥasan by several scholars.)
Every article published here is offered with the sincere intention (niyyah) of seeking the pleasure of Allah, spreading beneficial knowledge, and reminding both the writer and the reader that this worldly life is a journey toward the Hereafter. May Allah accept this humble effort, increase us all in beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, sincere faith, and steadfastness upon His guidance. Ameen.
